The Position
By holding this position, you will be responsible for the management of our meat departments within our stores by developing the department turnover in line with company objectives and guaranteeing the best customer service.
 
Your other responsibilities include, but are not limited to
 
Training and mentoring employees within Meat Departments in terms of technical knowledge of the products, sales techniques as well as margin management
Developing and verifying the consistency of the product range with the local peculiarities
Defining the layout of the meat departments in stores together with purchasing department
Price and assortment analysis in relation to competition
Developing relationships and cooperation with stores, sales and purchasing departments
Suggesting and counseling purchasing department regarding assortment selection
 
The Candidate
 
Bachelor’s or master’s degree
Previous working experience in similar positions for at least 3 years preferably in retail
Excellent knowledge of the fresh meat assortment
Proficiency with MS Office, particularly MS Excel
Good knowledge of English
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Excellent organizational skills
Good analytical skills
Willingness to relocate for the training period – 3 months
