Eurospin is an Italian discount store chain specialized in sales of food products and everyday purchase. Its business network currently counts over 1150 stores in Italy and Slovenia and over 15.000 employees, with the aim of expanding to other countries in the region. What characterizes Eurospin is the fact that it is the only discount store chain in Europe to sell exclusively its own products. In fact, there are no classic brands in Eurospin stores that can be found in any other supermarkets, only products designed and carefully selected by the team of Eurospin experts through the network of selected partners.

Eurospin believes it is time to show its value to the clients in Croatia as well. For the HQ office in Zagreb, we are searching for a motivated, devoted and reliable person to join their welcoming and forward-thinking team.

 

The Position
By holding this position, you will be responsible for recruitment, selection, hiring, engagement and retention of employees for our store.

Your other responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Use of variety of selection methods and adapting them to match the required profiles
  • Communication with labour market and Employer Branding activities
  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
  • Administrative tasks regarding the recruitment process and onboarding
  • Manage the database of candidates in external selection and internal promotion process
  • Prepare activity reports and process improvement proposals to management
  • Onboarding new employees
  • Prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
  • Work on various job assignments on different locations across the Croatia
  • Prepare reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover
  • Support to management in HR issues
  • Participation in other projects regarding human resources

 

The Candidate

 

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree preferably in Psychology
  • Minimum two years’ experience as a mass recruiter and trainer
  • Experience in recruiting blue-collar workers is a plus
  • Fluency in English, Italian is a plus
  • Ability to think and act strategically, planning for the mid-term while balancing the short-range needs of the organization
  • Good knowledge of Labour Law
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to travel frequently across larger territory
  • Team player
